Open Telemetry

OpenTelemetry is a collection of tools, APIs, and SDKs. Use it to instrument, generate, collect, and export telemetry data (metrics, logs, and traces) to help you analyze your software’s performance and behavior.

Architectures

• Reporting needs to work across the wide range of RISC and CISC CPU architectures in use in automotive MCUs and SoCs, as well as possibly integrated IP blocks.
  • For example in CPU:
    • ARM A/R/M
    • G3MH/G4MH 32-bit RISC (used in RH-850 MCUs)
    • RISC-V
    • RL78 16-bit CISC (used in RL78 MCUs)
