Content and Goal

We will set up a number of GDP related technology demos.

The staff should be attentive and try to greet people that come into the room and propose to them what to go and see, preferrably "guiding" them through a tour.  We are considering a  fixed time-slot schedule also.

Booked time slots

The idea was raised to have booked demo time slots.  Schedule will be arranged.

Demos will likely fall into 3 categories:

1. Demos that benefit from presentation/guidance, or a GDP presentation with slides, typically done by main GDP team.
2. Demos demonstrated by "third party" staff, typically from a particular company.  The main difference is that the company staff is focused on this demo only. 
   The expectation is that these demos have somebody presenting the demo for passers by, just like in a showcase.  (In practice, kind of similar to category 1)
3. Finally there might be a category of demos that need no introduction and can be just displayed and run by visitors on their own.
   (For example, simply the GDP on a table as-is with a touch screen)

For anyone wanting to try the SDE/development experience on their own, a small set of "hands-on" stations might be provided.  Staff will give guidance and support depending on availability.  .

1. Key Features and Goals
   Feature demo, highlight some principles and goals and relationship to GENIVI as a whole.
   Chromium features.  Discuss and inform about of flatpak/bwrap.
   

2. Smart Device Link
   Demonstrating control of Spotify App.
   

3. Software Development Environment (SDE)
   What is the SDE environment and what is it like to develop on GDP?
   How is the SDE built using pipelines on go.genivi.org?
   Should be doable - ironing out a few bugs
   

4. Software Over-The-Air Updates
   Show the interaction with the SOTA server, and downloading to a target.
   Possible but uncertain. Need to prepare this demo again and have someone to demo it.
   

5. Navigation / Fuel Stop Advisor
     Philippe C intends to demo
   

6. Car Data Logging
   Features listed in email to genivi-projects.
   

7. Renesas R-Car Gen 3
   Demonstration of Renesas's involvement in the GDP project. Details to be defined.
