  • Steve away next Wednesday 6th. Decision taken to cancel meeting. Next meeting will be 13th August.
• Playground
  • Steve did some work on the Playground Kanban
  • He has posted a PR (https://github.com/COVESA/cdsp/pull/79) to make the integration of the Kuksa CAN Provider more visible. Please review if you are interested too.
  • Closed the ticket to consider CAN feeders. Created ticket in backlog to add Playground support to VISSR CAN template
• Workshop
  • AI
    • Steve added some notes to the workshop page
    • Christian presented some early ideas he had about integration of various forms of AI into the architecture, e.g. A2A, and the related issues to be tackled.
    • Rami mentioned https://www.utcp.io/ a lightweight protocol for connecting AI tools
    • Discussion of talking to the German university about integrating their open source reasoner

• Consensus that it would be good to set a date and topics for the workshop to avoid drift
  • Christian suggests end of August?
• Truong from Bosch Vietnam joins. Has experience in the areas we are working in and would like to contribute. Describes ML example of battery monitoring.
• Discussion of possible AI aspects for the use-case. What are the problems to be tackled?

  • Release polishing status.
  • Roadmap for improvements: subscriptions, VISS etc
• Uses cases:
  • From UIf's comment above there is an update from Rami and himself on their meeting.
  • In a recent VSS call I asked about use-case inputs from the domain groups. @Stefan Sellschopp pointed at the work from the commercial vehicle group and pointed towards @Ted Guild for more information. Some of that information we are aware of from the past, such as the meta-data spreadsheet. When we talked about that when it was created one issue was that whilst the meta-data was defined the guidance on how it was intended to be used was missing. If @Ted Guild attends this week we can spend some time understanding the current status.
  • There may be some useful input from JasPar.
• Promotion: on the blog side of things we need to respond to @Carin Lagerstedt's draft text for a KL blog.
• Feature improvements: CAN feeders, MCP server, documentation, VISSR and IoTDB version updates, etc.
