On October 10-12, the GENIVI Alliance and its global development community will meet to continue its work delivering IVI and connected vehicle software while also exploring in depth an emerging industry trend of communication across safety, infotainment and consumer electronic software domains. GENIVI leadership will present an approach toward building standard interfaces between these domains and hold workshops to initiate interface definition. GENIVI welcomes collaboration from other organizations actively working in those domains. This program will be in addition to several other technical activities including hands-on training for secure programming, working sessions on application framework, location based service APIs, car data logger, inter-app communication, and a number of other topics.

On The event will begin Tuesday afternoon, October 10th, we will focus on and close at the end of the day on Thursday, October 12th.  Tuesday afternoon will be given to member content including a keynote from GENIVI from GENIVI President , Peter Schönenberg.  We , updates on technical activities, and discussions about the above, cross-domain challenge.  We will end the day with a welcome reception for all attendees.   

Wednesday’s program highlights include keynotes by prominent leaders from several Seoul-based member companies and parallel tracks on technical topicswill start with keynotes from senior leadership at both Hyundai and LG Electronics (see speakers below).  After the keynotes, the program will continue with both business-level and technical content through the remainder of the day. Wednesday will end with the popular GENIVI Member popular GENIVI Member Showcase & reception. Members are encouraged to invite nonmembers to the Open Community Days.

Image Added	Mr. Dong-Il Park, Senior Vice President Hyundai Motor Company Mr. Park manages the Vehicle IT Development Center and Electronics Technology Center for Hyundai Motor Company and will be speaking on Wednesday, October 11 at 9:00am.
Image Added	Dr. Jin-Yong Kim, Executive Vice President LG Electronics Dr. Kim has held the position of Executive Vice President, VC Smart Business Unit since 2016.  Prior to that, Dr. Kim was the Executive Vice President in the IVI Business Unit. Mr. Kim will be speaking on Wednesday, October 11 at 9:30am.
