During this autumn’s GENIVI All Member Meeting and Open Community Days, a portion of the program will be given to exploring an emerging industry trend of cross domain interfaces and communication.  This program will be in addition to several other technical activities including hands-on training for secure programming, working sessions on application framework, location based service APIs, car data logger, inter-app communication, and a number of other topics.  The Seoul program will have both workshops and presentations that will help develop sound approaches and equip GENIVI to actively collaborate with other organizations in those domains.

The AMMevent, which runs from 1300 on Tuesday Tuesday afternoon, 10 October 10th, through the end of Thursday (12 , October ) 12th will follow a our new more productive and focused schedule.  Tuesday afternoon will be given to focus on member content including a keynote from GENIVI’s President, Peter Schönenberg, updates on technical activities, and discussions about the above, cross-domain challenge.  We will end the day with a welcome reception for all attendees.  Wednesday will have parallel programs with both business and technical content followed by the popular GENVI Member Showcase & reception.  Thursday will focus primarily on technical content.  A more detailed draft schedule will be posted in late August.
