Advancing Vehicle Data and Service Standards to Deliver Value to the Industry

We welcome you to participate in our next GENIVI Virtual All Member Meeting (AMM), which will be hosted on 4-7 May 2021 as an online digital experience. As with all our events, the program will be a unique blend of trends and business topics followed by a variety of technical workshops. This program content is open to GENIVI members and guests. 

So, what can you expect at our upcoming 21st edition of a GENIVI Virtual AMM?

First, the Common Vehicle Interface Initiative (CVII) is gaining great momentum from a technical standpoint. More on that below. Portions of the first two days (4-5 May) will emphasize the potential business value that CVII deliverables offer our members and the industry broadly. You may have heard much about vehicle data monetization, but vehicle data, when coupled with vehicle service definitions, can produce great business value to OEMs and their suppliers, even before third-party applications are considered. 

Second, GENIVI will hold working sessions for the four current active tracks of the CVII project, including vehicle data models, vehicle service catalogs, technology stack development (tooling), and essential alignment to other organizations. 

Finally, GENIVI is also active in Android Automotive development, in-vehicle commerce (including payments and EV-charging), and automotive cybersecurity. AMM participants can expect practical and informative sessions on these three topics as well. 

We look forward to hosting our members, non-members, and partners from around the world at the GENIVI All Member Meeting, 4-7 May 2021, to discuss the opportunities offered from a common vehicle interface approach and a number of other relevant technology developments in GENIVI.
