COVESA Scope:

Our focus is connected vehicle systems including in-vehicle, at-edge and in-cloud services, interfaces and data exchange.   Our Data Expert Group leads and governs based on four pillars:  Best Practices, Data Models and Ontologies, Architecture and Infrastructure, and Interfaces.  As such we continue our alliance with W3C and other organizations for a promising future in the growing mobility ecosystem.

GENIVI hosts a suite of Open Source Projects that focus on non-differentiating elements of the software stack of an In-Vehicle Infotainment system. These elements form a reusable software foundation for the efficient development of unique automaker and supplier offerings. A detailed overview of GENIVI Alliance deliverables and Alliance Member Benefits may be found in the GRK.

All GENIVI Open Source Projects operate as a Community using Open-Source best-practices, where contributors are welcome and discussions are encouraged.

GENIVI's public Mailing Lists are available immediately.  You just sign up with your email address.  

To contribute to the Wiki and Issue tracking you are welcome to create an account (for both JIRA and Confluence).
